No matter if you take a bike ride to explore the Park or banks of River Sava, or, accompanied by the local guide, take a walk, allow yourself to be amazed by storks, herons, white-tailed eagles, ravens, sand martins who nest in river banks, tortoises, otters... In the Slavonian Oak woods and ash-tree woods, hidden from the world, still live wild boars, dears, roes, rabbits and other wild animals.
From early spring, to late autumn, on broad meadows, cows and horses pasture freely. Here you can see the horse flock of long meant decay local horse race: The Posavski horse.
Park area is the biggest natural carp nursery, as well as other still water fish. If you come in the time of nursery, you will experience "sea" of fish from all Danube basins.
Nearby, there are two ornithological parks: Krapje Đol and Rakitje, and Čigoć, European storks' village, which celebrates its Day of village Čigoć in June.
Varios surprises are offered by the flora of The Park. Even 550 different plant species found their home in the Park breadth, although they are endangered in other parts of world, or totally disappeared !
Variety of flora and fauna can be seen on the bike ride, by taking a walk, driving in a carriage, riding or sailing down The River Sava.
For history lovers, we recommend visit to Krapje, Village of architectural heritage, and European cultural treasure of A-category. Krapje celebrate its Day in September. There you can find The Ethno collection of Family Palaić, which can be seen daily.
For those who long to be alone, a visit to The Park with the Photo camera, or fishing in the river Sava , is recommended.
